A very warm welcome to you!
We place high importance on working in partnership with you, to support your child's learning and development, and encourage you to play a full part in the life of our school. We believe that the best outcomes for children arise when we work closely together. We have an open door policy and if you wish to see a teacher you are welcome to call in and arrange a mutually convenient time. We are always very pleased to have help and support in school so if you have any spare time and would like to volunteer, please speak to your child's class teacher.
We monitor every child's progress closely and it is vital for us and your child that you become interested and involved in both their academic progress and their development and well-being. To this end we hold parent consultations in the Autumn and Spring terms. These meetings provide an opportunity for you to find out how your child is progressing and for us to discuss ways in which you can support learning at home. In addition to this you will receive a full written report at the end of the Summer term, detailing the progress your child has made during the year and their levels of attainment compared to national expectations.
We keep you up to date with events and achievements in school, via letters which are emailed home. Newsletters are also put on the school’s website. Paper copies can be requested from the school office.
